We are the Criando Esperança Institute, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping society take care of the underprivileged from the first to the third age.
Our mission is to make the dreams of marginalized underprivileged people possible, and we believe that through education, sport, art and entertainment, we will be able to transform lives that cross our paths. Guided by our values of freedom, equality and opportunity for all, we work every day to make a difference in the lives of the people we serve. Our team is made up of passionate professionals and volunteers who work tirelessly in carrying out each task assigned to them. Together, we join forces to promote free social assistance in various areas to those most in need and to build a better future for all.
Our History
The Criando Esperança Institute was founded in 1999 by Marcelo and Wilma Travagini.
With the aim of helping families in the neighborhood who were going through difficult times. Since then, with the help of other people who were also passionate about social work, the institute has started to grow and impact the lives of several families in the south of the city of São Paulo, always faithful to our mission of making the dreams of marginalized needy people possible.
Over the years, we have reached important milestones, such as sending food, clothes, furniture, etc., to families who lost everything in the fires in 2000 and 2003, we helped people who were victims of the flood in the Ipiranga region in 2015, the year of the NGO's registration (CNPJ). In 2021 and throughout the Coronavirus pandemic, we adopted around 100 families by donating food parcels and groceries, and in May and June 2024, we collected clothes, drinking water and food to be delivered to the victims of the floods in Rio Grande do Sul.
Each of these moments was a fundamental step in our journey, strengthening our commitment to our cause. Today, Instituto Criando Esperança continues to expand its reach, thanks to the support of our community and partners such as partners such as add it Cloud Solutions
Very soon we will be inaugurating our first crèche for primary-age children and then a crèche that will also serve vulnerable elderly people, thus giving dignity to those who have done so much throughout their lives for their families and society. their families and society.
